Postal service is one of the most exciting and challenging services of the federal government. Smybolizing the true essence of federation, its extensive country wide network serves as a linchpin for the government to provide a large number of services to the people besides traditional postal products.

The greatest challenge for a postal executive lies in balancing the role of a civil servant responsible to execute various government policies, and a manager ever conscious to cater the needs of customers in modern competitive environment.

I have been working at different important positions since long. Serving as unit, district, and divisional chief, I had ample opportunities to exercise leadership role and accumulated vast experience in management.

I have acquired key competencies during my stint at various assignments. Some of these skills are; excellent interpersonal communication techniques, extensive experience in negotiation strategies, conflict resolution, motivational techniques, personal dynamism and good exposure to cross cultural working environment.

Director Administration, National Program Support Office - Finance Division (October-2003, todate)
  • Assist National Project Director in supervising and coordinating program activities for effective implementation of technical assistance/program loan.
  • Manage Procurements for federal implementing agencies and provincial support offices.
  • Ensure effective contract administration to prevent problems in contractor's performance, cost overrun and delays in receiving goods and services.
  • Administer preparation of consolidated annual budgets for national and provincial support offices.
  • Administer Program's imprest account and disbursement of funds to provinces.
  • Manage recruitment, compensation and evaluation of personnel in the program office.
