I am a Central Superior Services Officer having served the Government of Pakistan - Postal Services - for more than fourteen years. C.S.S. is an elite cadre of civil servants, selected after an intense competition at the national level. Each Officer is poised to play a leadership role in the federal bureaucracy and is actively involved in the process of public policy formulation, implementation and evaluation.

I have the honour to participate in the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship program. This is one of the most prestigious and coveted awards offered by the U.S. Government to accomplished professionals from the developing world. Fellows are selected based on their potential for national leadership. I was selected for the fellowship after a tough international competition in the field of Human Resource Management / Public Administration (1996-97) and was placed at the American University Washington DC. I passed Professional in Human Resources Certification examination besides obtaining postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Management. I also attended more than two dozen professional seminars and workshops ranging from leadership development program - a widely popular training program for the senior management - to participating in the joint meeting of the board of governors of World Bank and I.M.F.

Working as unit, district and divisional chief I have amassed vast experience in public administration, policy implementation and evaluation and human resource management.
